Gas Drops Below $2 in Colorado, One Station Hits $.99
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, gas prices are dropping drastically.
'It all comes down to supply and demand,' Fortune explains. 'And without as many people commuting to work or flying, we just don't need as much oil and gas.'
In Colorado, there are several gas stations that have dropped to $1 per gallon, with one gas station in Elbert hovering at $0.99, according to Gas Buddy.
In Fort Collins, the cheapest gas is at the Valero on Riverside and Mulberry at $1.59. Sam's Club on Eisenhower has the lowest gas prices in Loveland at $1.77, and the Sinclair or 18th St. and 2nd Ave. in Greeley has gas for $1.33.
