Fun Things To Do In Colorado During The Winter

Even though there isn't any snow on the ground you can still go have fun during the winter.

Colorado is amazing so have fun looking at these fun amazing things you can do around the state.

Dog Sledding - Oak Creek

Dog sledding will make you feel like your part of a dog race. They do it a little differently by switching how you ride. This is fun for the whole family as long as there aren't any little kids or pregnant women. The will take you along the Swan River Valley. This is some fun that you don't want to pass up.

Skiing/Snowboarding - Powderhorn

Snowboarding is one of my favorite things to do mainly because I'm not very good at skiing. Hitting that fresh powder there just isn't anything like it. You could spend all day on the mountain and not even realize you have been there. Just make sure to be bundled up, before you realize it you're going to be freezing.

Giant Rubber Inner Tube - Most Mountain Resorts

Inner Tubbing is one of the most fun things that you could do during the winter. I use to do this every winter when I was a kid. Once I got older it just stopped. But no more, now I'm going to hit the slopes with my big inner tube and catch some air!

Horse-drawn Sleigh - Breckenridge 

Have you ever wanted to ride in a sleigh? Well here is your chance. Take a nice romantic sleigh ride around Breckenridge then finish with an amazing dinner and a show. Not to mention they have sleigh rides that will take you around while you drink hot chocolate. It sounds like it would be an amazing time for your loved one.

Fat Biking - Steamboat Springs

Fat Biking is picking up steam in Colorado. These bikes can pretty much ride on anything, especially snow. This is something that I haven't been able to do yet. But you can count on it happening soon. Just make sure you don't go too fast.
