Free Admission to National Parks in Honor of MLK Day
In honor of Martin Luther King Day, there will be no entrance fee this weekend to the Colorado National Monument or any National Park on Monday, January 15.
How long has it been since you went up on the Monument? Or have you ever even been? If you're new to the area and you have not yet had the distinct pleasure of viewing your new home from one of the most beautiful vantage points around, well now is your chance.
The free weekend also extends to the other 129 National Parks across the country as well, so if there's a National Park near you that charges admission, you don't have to pay it this weekend! Enjoy the trip back in time to Mesa Verde National Park or the amazing vistas of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park or Rocky Mountain National Park.
Take some time, grab the kids and head up to the most scenic spot in the Grand Valley or head to one of the other National Parks nearby. Check these out!
