Five People You’ll Work with at Every Radio Station
I was reading a very interesting article from the Huffington Post, that says we work with 5 different types of people. I found this interesting, so I thought....What types of people do I work with here at the radio station??
The "I Know Everyone Person"-This is the guy that no matter who you say you have met, or know, you get the response of "Oh yeah, I know them!" I remember making up a name like "Sir Rapster Grind" just to see if they knew my imaginary friend.
The "I Know All Music EVER Person"- This is a person who no matter what song you name, they can list out every song from every album ever made.
The "Sound Perfectionist Person"- This is a person that no matter how great something sounds, "It can always be better" or they will tell you how you could have done it better, or the way they would have done it.
he "On The Side Performers"-These are the guys that fix, clean up, make sure all runs right, last minute people. They are truly the last line of defense when it comes to putting something on air, especially when you forgot! Oh, and then work as performers in a band. As if they didn't have enough to do!
The "I wanna work at a radio station, but do not EVER want my voice on the air" Person- This cracks me up! They will stand right next to you in the studio, yet they will never make a sound.
There you go! In-site into what types of people you will see when you enter a radio station!
