I found a few easy trails that you won't take up much of your day but still gets you outside in the fresh air.
The Window Rock trail will only take you about an hour to complete. But the views here are amazing. Take a nice easy hike to the "window" in the rock. Incredible views of the wedding canyon and the monument
Otto's trail is a simple trail that gives you a huge payout at the end. It ends at an overlook of the whole valley. This is one of the most amazing views of the whole Valley. An easy hike to see some amazing sights. First time I walked this trail I was about 11 years old. I think it might be time to take my daughters up here.
The Alcove nature trail has beautiful scenery through the whole trail. It ends up in an ancient sand dune. How cool would it be to hike into a sand dune? I know your kids would love it.
Canyon rim trail is an easy hike that you can take with your family. This hike is also a favorite for artists and photographers. The scenery is amazing and makes for an amazing backdrop. I might have to try my hand at painting the next time I take this hike.
I have a love-hate relationship with Devils Kitchen. The hike itself is pretty easy and the view is amazing. But like it says you need to stay on the trails. If you stay on the trail you will love this hike. I decided that I didn't want to stay on the trail and ended up falling and breaking my back. I still go with my girls because the "kitchen" shows nature at its absolute best.
