Five Early May Festivals In Colorado You Won’t Want To Miss
Now that spring is under way, we can start thinking about what we want to do outdoors.
And what better way to celebrate your independence from being stuck inside than going to a festival? Check out these five Colorado festivals and make your plans!
Held May 3-5, it's the 12th annual wine festival highlighting not only great wines, but great food as well. Seminars, dinners and wine tasting make this one event your palate will thank you for! Sounds like a delicious weekend to me!
Everyone around here knows about this one. In the 23 years this event has been held, it has constantly drawn folks from all over the state, and the country, to enjoy everything Fruita has to offer. Awesome mountain bike trails, excellent food and all of your friends make this the event of the spring!
Held in Canon City, this festival, from May 2-6, celebrates the return of spring by showcasing the incredibly beautiful blooms and delicious foods from the area. Add in excellent music and you have the recipe for one good time.
I love this. It quacks me up! Not only do you have a duck race, but a 5k duck waddle, too! Combine that with awesome food, live music and fun activities and you have an event the family will thank you for bringing them to!
The grandest Cinco De Mayo party is in Denver, but there are festivals all over the state for you to enjoy. In Grand Junction, the Cinco De Mayo celebration is held on Main Street and of course you will find exceptional food, traditional dance, your friends and as always, a lot of fun.
Set your GPS and go have fun this spring!
