Ex-Couple Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Grand Junction
A couple was arrested after allegedly being involved in a stabbing incident this weekend. The fight was broken up by a passerby who held them until police came.
Gena Anderson and William Clark were both arrested by the Grand Junction Police Department. Gena has arrested for assault charges while William was booked on unrelated charges, according to KKCO.
They allegedly stabbed each other on Sunday around noon, on 30 Road under the overpass bridge. Both Gena and William were hospitalized.
Allegedly Gena made the first move and was arrested for second-degree assault, according to KKCO. Thankfully, the knife fight came to an end when a passerby got involved.
They stopped the fight by pulling out a gun and waiting until police arrived. That's one brave citizen right there.
Reports show that Gena and William had recently broken up. I wonder what caused the conflict and what drove them to allegedly use knives on each other. Don't they know that words can be hurtful too?
