Early Morning Stabbing Sends One Person to Hospital and Another to Jail
A stabbing on Main Street in Grand Junction early Sunday sends one woman to the hospital and another woman to jail.
Grand Junction Police Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 400 block of Main Street at 1:20 a.m. Sunday (August 5). At the scene they found a woman with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital where it was determined none of the wounds were life threatening.
During the course of the investigation police officers arrested 37-year-old Bretrina Snyder and charged her with 1st Degree Assault.
Snyder is the only suspect in the stabbing. Police investigators have not released the possible motive for the stabbing.
