For the heroes who deal with domestic violence on a daily basis there comes a time when help is needed to continue to help those who have been or are dealing with domestic abuse.

It's a two-day conference for the professionals who are trying to help end the cycle of violence. The conference includes local as well as nationally recognized speakers and will also have classes outside of the presentations being made in order to fit the conference to their specific needs.

Those who attend the conference are given additional information and practices to use to assist those who have had to deal with domestic violence in order to better serve their clients.

Anyone who helps others with domestic violence is encouraged to attend and many do. Lawyers, health professionals, teachers, counselors and more come away from the conference better prepared to deal with Intimate partner violence (IPV).

The conference is April 11-12 and will be held at the University Center on the CMU campus.
