It's back to school time, and while that means many elementary, middle school and high school students are heading back to the classrooms, for college towns like Fort Collins, it also means an influx of thousands of young adults who are coming back to class, and freshmen who are just starting their college journey at Colorado State University.

It can be an exciting and stressful time for many, but according to CBS Denver, some campus officers wanted to help ease a little of the anxiety over the weekend. To do this, officers showed off their moves (or lack thereof for a few of them), but who am I to criticize with my horrible dance moves? Seriously, though...this is pretty awesome, especially considering the officer is lugging around an extra 25-30 pounds of equipment.

Every year, CSU puts on a  “Ram Welcome” party which is simply an outdoor carnival and concert intended to serve as an icebreaker for new students in a welcoming setting. This year, campus police just decided to take it up a few notches, kick in with the moves and have some fun with the students, which I think is awesome. There seems to be a LOT of excitement for students to be back in person and on campus too.

We need this same energy September 3!#RamClash

Classes resume this week and students will be required to have their COVID-19 vaccinations or a university-approved exemption. Masks will also be required on campus until further notice .
