Beginning April 2nd all Colorado residents that are 16 years of age or older will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. But something special is happening in Fruitvale because as you receive your vaccine your pet can receive a wellness exam and their core vaccines at no cost. This is a tremendous opportunity being offered by Marillac Health and the Roice-Hurst Humane Society.

If you have decided that you would prefer not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine your pets can still be seen for an exam and for their vaccines but there will be a discounted cost associated with those fees. This is for Clifton area residents only.

When and Where is the "Hand-in-Paw" Wellness Event Taking Place?

This fantastic event being put on by two amazing groups is taking place this Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Central High School located at 6401 Warrior Way in Fruitvale.

If You Want to Take Advantage of Both the COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pet Vaccines You Will Need to Get Registered.

The event being held on Saturday will have plenty of COVID-19 vaccines whether you are pre-registered or not. But if you're wishing to have your furry family member receive their core vaccinations as well you are being asked to register for both sets of vaccines.

If you want to pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine you can click here to make that happen. If you would like to get your pets signed up for the wellness exam and to receive their core vaccines you can do that by clicking here.

It sounds like the whole family could get their vaccines on Saturday.
