When I first saw this story online being shared by Your Central Valley, I figured the crazy people in Florida were at it again. Not even for a second did I expect that it was right here in Colorado, but this incident did take place in Dillon, Colorado, and law enforcement is asking for help from the public in identifying this man.

It was around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14th that a man wearing a hooded Ku Klux Klan mask into a grocery store. It was a City Market store and the mask also displayed images of a swastika and a peace sign.

Many customers in the store confronted the man and called him racist. Other customers in the store commented that it was obvious that the man wearing the KKK mask was doing this for attention.

A store employee approached the man three times and told him to leave or else the police would be called. The man argued but eventually left the store just minutes before the police could arrive. Now the local Dillon Police Department is working to identify the man.

Personally, this sounds like something a high school student or immature adult was trying to accomplish to generate some sort of viral video in hopes of becoming famous online. It's amazing what people will do to "go viral".

While law enforcement hasn't discussed any potential charges for the man who entered the store wearing the hood, I have a feeling once identified, there will be some sort of punishment for his behavior.
