Michael John Suppes, 45, of Windsor was indicted in Federal court in Denver for hiding gun parts in children's toys and sending them around the world.

Suppes masqueraded as a toy salesman and was using UPS addresses in and around Fort Collins as the address for the business.

Suppes was arrested in May when he was pulled over and a cache of guns and ammo was found in his truck. Authorities found over 50 Ak and AR type rifles along with ammunition. Suppes explained he was in the process of shipping them to a man in Pueblo, but found that that man was actually a federal agent.

Suppes company, Toy Liquidators has sent guns to locals in South Africa, Mexico, India, and Cambodia.

Suppes violated the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and could face significant fines and prison time. Authorities stated there were over 1,200 international as well as domestic shipments related to Suppes.
