Colorado Had 2 Attempted Kidnappings on Monday
Police are searching for suspects after two young girls escaped kidnapping attempts on Monday in Broomfield and Grand Junction.
Broomfield police are searching for a suspect after a girl told them a man tried to push her into his truck while she was walking home from school. She told police the suspect is a white male between 30 and 40 years old with average build and height. Broomfield police are asking the public to watch for a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with aftermarket wheels and contact them if you see it.
Grand Junction police say a 12-year-old girl escaped kidnapping on Monday as well. She told police she was walking home from schools when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to pull her off the path she was walking on. She was able to get away from the kidnapper and run home. Police say the suspect is a Hispanic male in his 60's with a white mustache, wearing a green hat and blue jeans.
