Restaurant and bar owners in Colorado are doing anything and everything possible to make a profit each month which takes lots of creative ideas. They have spent so much money on sanitizing equipment, plexiglass barriers, and masks and their creativity is never-ending. We have seen so many restaurants adapt to curbside pickup or delivery methods. Now we are seeing locations get creative with the food they are offering.

Since the pandemic began back in March we have seen alcohol and marijuana sales increase, especially as more people were asked to practice social distancing. With many Colorado residents at home enjoying themselves with their favorite intoxicants you are seeing restaurants and bars catering to that clientele.

According to Westword, in Denver, the Wild Corgi Pub is now selling "stoner packages". These boxes of crazy flavor combinations are available for delivery or takeout and pairs carnival food with pub and childhood favorites. For a stoner package delivered in their area it will cost you $20 and includes a combination of the following:

  • Fried Cheese Curds
  • Churros
  • Fried Snickers
  • Smoked Chicken Wings
  • Tater-tot Nachos
  • Fried Pickles
  • and more
  • Plus each order includes both a Capri Sun & Hi-C juice box.

These stoner boxes first began back in the summertime and were first created after staff members were joking around about how to make the business more profitable. But these boxes have helped, and the bar recently doubled the number of munchie combinations so it seems they will be staying on the menu for a while.

Would you order a "stoner package"?
