Breakfast with Santa in Grand Junction Helps Toys for Tots
A heads up for kids of all ages! Tomorrow is your chance to enjoy breakfast with Santa and help out Toys for Tots in Grand Junction all at the same time.
Saturday, December 7th, head over to Great Harvest Bread Company at 2464 US Hwy 6 And 50 by 9 a.m. to see Santa arrive with the Grand Junction Firefighters local 2808.
Here's how it all works. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and enjoy a free french toast breakfast. Yum! If you have little ones under the age of 5 they'll get french toast for free. Everybody gets free hot chocolate to enjoy while we visit around the campfire, along with a chance to decorate fresh gingerbread cookies!
You don't have to bring a Playstation 4, just take a look for a toy at the store of your choice and find a gift that a boy or girl would enjoy opening on Christmas morning. Most Toys for Tots campaigns are really trying to help as many kids under the age of 12 as possible so keep that in mind as you select a toy to donate. The best suggestion is that if your own child would love opening a toy on Christmas morning, so would the child receiving the same gift with Toys for Tots. Do stay away from toys resembling realistic-looking weapons.
If you make it out to see Santa arrive on the firetruck we would love to see your photos. Feel free to share them in the comments section on social media. Merry Christmas to all!
