Awesome Weekly Events in Grand Junction

We no longer live in an age where you can only go out on Friday and Saturday nights. In this beautiful day and age there is literally entertainment every single night of the week. Here are some of the most popular events all week long in Grand Junction.

Monday - Karaoke at Old Chicago

If you're looking for something fun to do on a Monday night in Grand Junction, Old Chicago has Monday night Karaoke, and it's a ton of fun! There is a huge crowd and everyone really gets into it. This is great Monday Night event if you're looking for some fun in Grand Junction.

Tuesday - Open Mic at Cruisers

Cruisers bar holds an open mic every Tuesday night, in Grand Junction. This is a great way to listen to local talent, both new and old favorites. If you're looking for fun on a Tuesday night, this is really the place to go.

Wednesday - Open Mic at The Rockslide

Perhaps you don't have a Tuesday night off, but rather a Wednesday night off. Not a problem, the Rockslide has you covered. The Rockslide is now running an open mic every Wednesday night (this is where I FIRST performed live, years and years and years ago) and I also ran the Open Mic at the Rockslide for a few years. This is another great chance to catch some local talent, they are also going to host Featured Artists each week, and they are bringing acts from all over the country in to be a part of the event. This a great way to spend a Wednesday night.

Thursday - Springhill Suites

The Springhill Suites hosts live music every Thursday and Friday night. I perform live on their patio every Thursday during the Downtown Grand Junction Farmer's  Market from 6pm-8pm, and Morgan Crouse performs on their patio every Friday night from 6pm-8pm.

Friday - Doubletree Hotel

The Doubletree hosts live music every Friday night, in their lounge. It's a super classy event, but note that this is a Twenty One and up event. The music lasts until 11pm, so make sure you get down there a little before 8pm to catch the full event.

Saturday - Downtown Grand Junction

Just about every bar in Grand Junction has live music on Saturday night, or a DJ. Some places to note are The Rockslide, Thunderstruck Valley, Ella's Blues Room, and Sabrosa.

Sunday - Drag Queen Karaoke

The Grand Junction CD's run a Drag Queen Karaoke every Sunday night at Charlie Dwellington's. There is an insane amount of talent in this show, and it's always a great time. If you're looking for something to do on a Sunday night in Grand Junction, you need to check out Drag Queen Karaoke.
