The  "Coming Soon!" sign is about to come down at Grand Junction's newest thrift store.

The first day of business for the Arc Thrift Store will be Monday, February 24 from 10am-6pm. The store will be open from 10am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday that week, 9am-9pm on Thursday, and the first Saturday sale will be February 29 from 8am-9pm. The store will be open on Sunday 10am-6pm.

A ribbon-cutting and grand opening for the Arc Thrift Store has been set for 8:30am on February 27th. The store has been receiving donations for the past several weeks in preparation for the Grand Junction opening.

The Grand Junction store is located in the Eastgate Shopping Center on North Avenue.  This will be the 31st Arc store in Colorado.

Established in 1968, Arc Thrift Stores is a Colorado-based company and one of Colorado's largest employers of people with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and many other intellectual and developmental disabilities. There are four arc chapters on the western slope that benefit from donations.

Next week, I will share more exciting news about the opening of the Arc Thrift Store in Grand Junction.
