Passing out Candy before a flight just in case your kids are bad? That's what one couple with 14-week-old twin boys just did during a cross-country flight. Have you ever traveled with kids?

The couple passed out plastic bags of candy as an advanced apology for the behavior of the twins; they also offered ear plugs to every passenger.

According to The Daily Mail the goodie bag included this note:

We’re twin baby boys on our first flight and we’re only 14 weeks old! We’ll try to be on our best behavior, but we’d like to apologize in advance just in case we lose our cool, get scared or our ears hurt. Our mom and dad (AKA our portable milk machine and our diaper changer) have ear plugs available if you need them.

Luckily we have not had to give candy or apologies for the Brody on any of the airplane trips we have made.

When talking about flying with Brody, we told him going on a plane ride was fun!  We bought Brody a special airplane backpack and packed it full of his favorite toys and snacks! SECURITY ALERT: always buy snacks after the security check; we learned that hard way!  On the way to our seats we stopped off by the cock-pit and Brody was able to see all the buttons and gadgets!

On the most recent flight to Disneyland we had a potty issue. Brody wanted to go potty but the catch is timing the potty breaks with all the other passengers -- nothing like a race to the bathroom down those small aisles!

Flying with a little one is a challenge the advice I would give -- make it a real adventure for you and the kiddo!
