Here are some of the local favorites, and hotels I would choose, and I do choose when I am in need of a local hotel.

The Springhill Suites Downtown Grand Junction

The best part about the Springhill Suites is the location. The hotel is located in Downtown Grand Junction, on 3rd and Main St, which means everything downtown is within walking distance. The Springhill has a sort of futuristic and 60's vibe all at the same time.

The Doubletree Hotel

The Doubletree Hotel is probably the biggest and fanciest hotel in the Grand Junction area. When big stars stay in town, this is one of the places they tend to stay. The Doubletree also offers free, hot, chocolate chip cookies!

The Melrose Hotel

The Melrose Hotel is a historic building and a big part of Downtown Grand Junction's history. It's less expensive than some of the other hotels in town, which is great. The biggest benefit to the Melrose is that it's within a short walking distance from anything downtown.

The Grand Vista Hotel

The Grand Vista was one of the largest hotels in Grand Junction, for several years. They have large rooms and good rates. If you need a place close to the airport, this is the place to stay.

Candlewood Suites is located extremely close to the Mesa Mall area, which makes it super convenient for anyone that needs to stay in that area. You're close to shopping, close to several restaurants and extremely close to I-70. Candlewood Suites is a great option if you need to be close to the center of the valley.

The Quality Inn is one of the places I will always stay when I travel. They have great rates, clean rooms, a solid breakfast, and a great pool. The location is still pretty convenient, and they usually offer pretty good deals online as well.
