Why You Should Adopt from Roice-Hurst Humane Society
I recently paid a couple of visits to Grand Junction's Roice-Hurst Humane Society. The second time I went, I adopted a fur baby. Here's why you should adopt from Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Good Experience:
I was greeted with a smile every time I came to Roice-Hurst Humane Society. The facility was clean, it took me six minutes to get there, you could sit down if you wanted and the staff was very timely. I walked in at 11 and was out at 11:30 with my new kitten!
Good People:
The staff at Roice-Hurst Humane Society really care about their animals. I had a chance to speak with a woman who was a foster mom. She was inquiring about a blind kitten, Tiger, and was very happy (maybe a bit sad) that he was adopted. From the time I was there Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning, Tiger was adopted.
Nice and Knowing:
There was never a dull moment at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. The staff and future pet owners always made small talk with me and asked what I was interested in. A dog or cat? (Both, please.) But I did end up getting a kitten. They let me everything about him, that he loves ice cubes, that he was in foster care for a while, that I have free consults for six months and a free check up too!
Someone for Everyone:
There are many different kinds of pets and personalities! I played with numerous dogs, and cats -- and kittens at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. There were hyper animals, old animals, young animals, social animals, relaxed animals, big animals, small animals and fluffy animals and I think you get the point. Whatever your situation or lifestyle is, a forever friend (aka fur baby aka animal aka family) will fit right in. I know my little dude is!
