Why Not Utilize Grand Junction’s ‘Spring Cleanup’ Program to Make Musical Instruments? [VIDEOS]

I'm not a particular fan of Grand Junction's "Spring Cleanup" program, but I have found one way in which we could all truly benefit. How about if we took all the piles of trash, and use the materials to make beautiful musical instruments? Don't laugh, it has been done.

It's a bit disturbing to drive through town and see all the things people are throwing away rather than refurbishing or recycling. What if it were put to good use? Many people have done it, using far worse materials.
