Wondering who won Wednesday nights Powerball jackpot?

So am I! Unfortunately, the winner isn't one of us in Colorado. The winning ticket was sold at a gas station in Milpitas, California, which is a northern suburb of the San Jose area.

Wednesday nights jackpot of $425 million is the sizth-largest jackpot in U.S. history, and the fourth-largest in Powerball history. If the winner (which there was only one winning ticket sold) takes the lump sum, he or she will get $227.8 million. The winning numbers were 1, 17, 35, 49, 54, and 34.

So, the plan for today is... take the rest of the day off and call every single known relative I have that lives in California. Once I find out none of them have the winning ticket, I will waste more money on tickets this weekend and hope to hit it big!

I think the most I've ever won is probably $3, not including scratch offs. Have you ever won anything playing lottery games?
