What You Need to Know for the Wiener Dog Races

Thank you for registering for the Wiener dog races, here's what you'll need to know:

Race Day Saturday, October 4

Make sure you have your entry fee of $10 for each Wiener Dog, make sure your Wiener is all warmed up.

• Check in starts at noon at 4th and Main Streets.
• We'll meet at the race track between Rockslide Brewery and Wells Fargo. Look for the 95 Rock and 99.9 KEKB tents.
• At 12:30 pm we begin the Wiener Dog Walk downtown on Main St.
• We begin the Wiener Dog Races at 2 pm. Make sure you and your Wiener are ready to run.
• First place prize is three months of service from Oopsie Poopsy of Grand Junction.

How It Works

Each Wiener Dog will have at least one run down the "Green Mile". The winner of each heat will move on to the next level.

If we have a tie we will have those Wiener Dogs race again.

Once we get a winner from each race, we will then move on to the final races to determine our winners.
