A church in Oklahoma recently opened a  time capsule that was buried in 1913. This got me thinking, what would make a great time capsule to open in 100 years from Grand Junction.

What the church found in the capsule probably didn't seem too odd back in 1913, they buried a telephone, newspaper, a phonebook and a pair of ladies show still with the shine.

The really awesome item was the  phonograph record featuring voices of citizens from the era.

I would make sure that we include some delicious Enstrom candies, a bottle (or two) of wine from each winery and some dried peaches, and maybe an iPad with a some stories from the area.

If a time capsule was created today for Grand Junction what would you put in it? Think about 100 years from know people opening up the time capsule what would they like to know about our awesome Valley that we live in?
