Western Slope Festivals + Oktoberfest + Family Fun — Miss Em On-The-Town

Miss Emily here! I've got the 411 on fun this weekend. You know what I love about Colorado? There is SO much beauty, and so many things to do here! Like I've said before, our family and friend situations are all so different! Kids, no kids, kids just a couple weekends a month, etc. We need options! Check this out.

With the Fam

How about some fun at Boo with the Zoo? This event will be taking place at the Dinosaur Journey Museum in Fruita on Saturday, October 6th. Not only will they have the excitement of the Dinosaur Museum, but they will also be bringing out some creepy, crawly reptiles. (real ones!!) Dates and Drinks

Well, of course, I'll tell you what I'll be doing on Friday night (the 5th). I will be singing with a sweet little group at Sakura Asian Bistro on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction. We will be there from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Have you come out to that restaurant to try the food yet? Lovely place with tasty food. I hope I get to see you there!

Festival Fun

Grand Junction will be holding its 31st Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, the 6th from 10am-10pm! Beer and brats, baby. Wanna know more? Visit the downtown Grand Junction website.

Montrose, I didn't forget about yours! In fact, I'll be singing at the Oktoberfest in Montrose on Saturday! It's time to celebrate, all across the Western Slope. See you there!

Last, but not least, Applefest in Cedaredge on October 6th and 7th. I've been going to this festival for quite a few years. It is so beautiful and such a great little drive with the family. I'll be up there on Sunday morning to say hi. (Surprise, I'll be singing there too!) Check out the Applefest website for details.
