The weekend is almost here, and there is plenty of live local music in Western Colorado to satisfy most anyone's tastes. Weather isn't exactly going to be favorable, so stay indoors, and support your local music scene. Here's the breakdown as to the who, what, and when.

Snootch (formerly Steam Funk)
Warehouse 25 - Thurday 7:00Snootch makes their way to Grand Junction's newest bar, Warehouse 25. You may not realize it, but you've seen Snootch before. They used to go by the name Steam Funk.
It's a new name, but it's the same killer band. Bill "Kleenex-In-The-Nose" Moody still fronts on Sax. Don't miss a chance to enjoy live music before the weekend officially rolls in.

Goodman Band
Club Fresh in Rifle - Friday - 8:00 to midnightThe Goodman Band returns to Club Fresh in Rifle with plenty of Rock, Blues, and Country.
If you haven't visited Club Fresh in Rifle, you should make plans to this Friday night. The venue is awesome, the staff is great, and the room boasts a large dance floor.

Desert Flyer Band
Central Station - Saturday - 8:30The mighty Desert Flyer Band returns to Central Station for a great night of new Country, Classic Country, Southern Rock, and plenty of Oldies.
If you love Country dance, this is your gig. Hit the guys up for a Waltz, or maybe a Two-Step. If you're into newer Country, they have you covered there, too. Southern Rock... absolutely.
Central Station has the biggest, best dance floor in the valley. When the band is off stage, DJ Solo has you covered with your favorite dance music.

Goodman Unplugged
Palisade Brewing Company - Saturday - 7:00 - 10:00Goodman Unplugged, an acoustic version of the Goodman Band, comes to Palisade for a night of Country, Rock, and Blues.
Do yourself a favor, and while you're at it, a favor for Gerry, and hit him up for some Johnny Cash. You'll make his night.

Messiah Choral Society
Sunday - Grand Junction High School Auditorium - 2:30The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction proudly presents their free annual Easter concert, a full performance of Handel's Messiah.
Alejandro returns as your Concert Master. New this year, Scott Betts will serve as your conductor.
This concert is offered as a musical gift to the community to celebrate the holiday. No tickets required. Admission is free.
