On Monday (July 20), the grounds crew of a local high school discovered a baby fox tangled up in a soccer goal net.

According to a Facebook post from the Weld County Sheriff's Office, Weld County Animal Control and Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) arrived on the scene to free the animal.

The fox was so tangled up in the net that officials had to cut the netting multiple times in order to free it.

Thankfully, the fox was mostly unharmed, suffering only minor abrasions in the incident.
