Facebook Reveal: Grand Junction’s Favorite Ways to Cheer Yourself Up
After asking you on Facebook, here are your favorite ways to cheer yourself up. Grand Junction, if you're having a bad day, this could turn it around for you.
I asked you 'when you've got a frown, what turns it upside down?' and this is what you had to say. Mix 104.3 basically cures any bad feelings you may have, and that's according to you. But seriously, I was delighted to discover that you we find happiness in a lot of the same things.
What I usually turn to whenever I'm down is music. Music is perfect for when you're feeling sad, or angry, or happy, or really all emotions. It has a way of lifting you out of your funk and making you feel not so alone.
Obviously I'm not alone in this. I'm also not alone in feeling cured of my bad mood by spending time with my pet. It looks like Danielle here loves music, dogs and cuddling just as much as I do.
Bring on the sweet treats. I'm all about some ice cream and anything with chocolate in it. Chocolate can really be there for you in a time of need. I once tried to cure my sadness with a whole quart of chocolate in cream. I finished it in one sitting.
I thoroughly enjoy taking out all frustrations while working out. The rush you feel over your body (and brain) is definitely worth leaving the house. Working out is a great way to cheer yourself up. It's up to you if you want to eat your ice cream before or after your run. I'd recommend eating it afterward.
