Was 2004 the Best Year Ever for Music?

2004 seems like so long ago, but was it really? I ran across this list that run downs the top 20 songs in pop music during 2004. Was it really that long ago that 'Snoop Dog "Drop it Like It's Hot" or Maroon 5's "This Love" were huge hits?

Remember Ruben Stoddard from American Idol? What ever happened to him anyway? Sorry Ruben 2004 was a big year for you, but haven't heard your name in years.

And Britney Spears "Toxic," was it really 10 years ago?
