COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Kids in Grand Junction
For a while now we have known that the COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone who wants the vaccine but now kids are able to receive the shot if they choose. Both COVID testing and the vaccines are available if you want more details you can visit the Mesa County Public Health website here. According to KREX, all people over the age of 12 can now receive a COVID-19 vaccine if they wish.
The first event of its kind was held earlier this week at Central High School hosted by Marillac Health inviting not only students from Central but anyone in the community who wants the vaccine. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been approved under emergency use for all kids 12 and up, so that is what was administered at the vaccine event earlier this week.
When Will the Next COVID-19 Vaccine Event Take Place for Kids in Grand Junction
There is another event identical to the one earlier this week, but it's planned for next week. On Wednesday, May 26th once again at Central High School there will be another vaccine event. If you want more information regarding the specific vaccines (Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, or Moderna) or if you want more details on the event click here.
Whether You Get the COVID-19 Vaccine or Not Be Respectful of Others
It's completely your decision if you want the COVID-19 vaccine or not, and most people have made that decision. But don't be a jerk if someone doesn't agree with your opinion. Just remember the golden rule, treat people how you would like to be treated.
