Our 2019 was amazing and the proof is on our Instagram. These are Mix 104.3's top nine Instagram posts from 2019.

2019 was a great year full of hiking, MCing, paddleboarding, interviewing and broadcasting live. We've been really lucky and have met amazing people from the Grand Valley who have shared their stories with us. We're all about being a part of the community and doing our part to make it better and we plan on doing even more of that in 2020.

From local artist Pavia Justinian, to me dressing up in an inflatable unicorn costume for Monster Mash, here are our top nine Instagram posts of 2019 and the stories behind them.

Our #1 Instagram post of 2019 includes a couple of shots from the Palisade Rim Trail. Hiking this does make me feel like the caption (which is from a Big Sean and Drake song) 'way up I feel blessed.' I was especially blessed to see that cool lizard and that view.

The #2 Instagram posts of 2019 is a picture of our very own Grand Junction cheerleaders before they headed to the State Spirit Championships. Pictured here are Grand Junction High School, Palisade High School, Central High School, and Colorado Mesa University cheerleaders.

Our #3 Instagram post of 2019 is from Roice-Hurst Humane Society's Wine & Whiskers Gala. It was a beautiful summer night at Maison La Belle Vie Winery, with plenty of food, wine and puppies and kitties.

The very first time I tried out paddleboarding is our #4 Instagram post of 2019. Not only did I try paddleboarding, I tried SUP yoga at Snooks Bottom, which was a lot of fun and I would definitely do both again.

#5 of our top nine Instagram posts of 2019 is all about Paul Hughes. Paul Hughes is a teacher at Chipeta Elementary and wants you to always follow your dreams, even if it is climbing Mount Everest just like he did.

Our #6 Instagram post of 2019 is all about something that we love doing -- broadcasting live on location. This post was about broadcasting live at Dinosaur Day at the Dinosaur Journey Museum and in the Cabela's parking lot too. If you ever want us to broadcast live for your event, let us know, because we'd love to.

#7 of our top nine Instagram posts of 2019 is from the Parade of Lights. I had so much fun MCing and having the best seat in the house to see all of the festive floats. The same goes for MCing and broadcasting live, we love doing it so if you need an MC, hit us up.

The #8 Mix 104.3 Instagram post of 2019 is from Monster Mash. I dressed up in an inflatable unicorn costume and handed out candy to thousands of kids in adorable costumes on Halloween at the Dinosaur Journey Museum -- basically, we'll never forget this night.

Last but not least is #9 of our top nine Instagram posts of 2019. This post is all about local artist Pavia Justinian and her crazy cool art. We loved meeting Pavia and hearing all about her work all across Colorado. We've done some very cool things and met so many amazing people in 2019 and we can't wait to see who else we get to meet in 2020.
