Three Reasons to go to Connected Lakes

I recently had the pleasure of going to Connected Lakes in Grand Junction. I've got three reasons why you need to go there.

It's 15 Minutes Away
Connected Lakes is about 15 minutes from where I live and even less from the station! No need to drive for hours when you can go to a great, peaceful spot in town.
Great Fishing
I saw people in boats and on foot fishing at Connected Lakes. I always had my own spot, there's even shade areas with a table and fishing rod holders too. Connected Lakes is the place to catch 12 fish in just a few hours. (I seriously did catch that many.)
It's Family Friendly
When you have a boat ramp, plenty of room to go fishing, picnic and camping areas, restrooms and lots of hiking trails, it makes for a great place to hang out with the family.
