This is The Most Hated Christmas Movie in Colorado

But, like, why???

I think it's safe to say that Colorado likes an unconventional Christmas movie...after all, a few weeks ago it was revealed that our favorite is Die Hard. *Cue eye roll*

For some reason, though, Colorado has some shade to share when it comes to this (some would argue) even more unconventional Christmas movie: Rise of the Guardians. Honestly, I don't really understand this one: Chris Pine plays Jack Frost, and the animation is stunning...where does the hate come in?

According to Reviews.org,

Eight states don’t find any joy in Dreamworks’ Rise of the Guardians, which features the Sandman, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny battling alongside a tattooed Santa to protect the children of the world.

Maybe it's woke Santa, maybe it's the hyper-realistic animation. Either way, don't bring this one to your holiday gathering this year.
