From the Mesa to the weather, there is a lot to love about the Western Slope. Here's why the Western Slope is the coolest, according to you.
The largest flat top mountain in the entire world is right in our backyard - the majestic Grand Mesa. It's amazing how you can take a short drive and be in a completely different environment.
Once you eat a Palisade peach, there's no going back. This is the moment I tried a Palisade peach for the first time and I immediately thought 'this is the best peach in the entire world.'
Fishing was the most popular answer we got when we asked you to tell us one cool thing about the Western Slope. As a fisherwoman, I have to agree. I've caught and seen fish that I would never get to catch unless I lived here. I caught a few grayling up on the Mesa and I'm coming for that cutty next. (Cutty = cutthroat trout.)
