Key & Peele of Comedy Central misunderstand the tone of each other's text messages while trying to make plans. CAUTION: Language is NSFW!

It is a daily problem that we all struggle with... trying to understand the tone in which a text message was typed in. It also applies to Facebook messages and posts, tweets, emails, etc. Will this epidemic ever end?

I am more on the understanding side of things when reading texts from people. Especially anyone who is over 45 years old. People that age and older didn't grow up typing on machines like most of us, so they tend to convey a "sassy" sort of tone. But even anyone's texts can be tough to read sometimes.

The main thing that gets to most of us, especially me, is the period. If there is a period at the end of your text it means that your pissed. Also, the shorter the version of "Okay" that you get, they more angry they are... they're pretty mad if all you get is a "k". The worst possible thing to receive is "K" with a period. Although the previously mentioned age group doesn't know these rules as our youth does.

Will this text message confusion ever end? My suggestion is having different fonts... a different font for when you're happy, sad, mad, being sarcastic, etc.
