Worst Dressed

The 2014 Oscars saw lots of actresses and celebs dressed in neutrals, black and metallics. For the most part, the red carpet was tame and there were way more well-dressed ladies than there were questionably attired ones!

The 2014 Grammys (Jan. 26) were not without a handful of questionable frocks and outfits. Thankfully, there were only a few dresses that made us ask, "WTF were they thinking?"

Let us start by saying that we love, love, love all of the celebs that unfortunately landed on our 2014 Golden Globes Worst Dressed list. Not every outfit or ceremony yields home runs, though. It's a fashion fact of life.

The 65th annual Emmys (which aired on Sept. 22) boasted plenty of stunning outfits on the bodies of celebs as they pranced the red carpet. There were also plenty of fashion clunkers, which bummed us out, since some of our favorite stars (and their stylists) were out of character and didn't choose wisely.

This week was full of fashion home runs, courtesy of Jessica Chastain and Helen Mirren, who were both red hot in figure-hugging dresses, while Cate Blanchett went fashion-forward in a powder pink Balenciaga gown with a hula-like construction and tentacles that just didn't work for us.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards hit Las Vegas Sunday night (May 19) and we're thrilled to report that there were only a scant few clunkers in the worst dressed department. Fashion-wise, there were more good looks than bad ones, as the event was a mixed bag of classy gowns and party frocks, and some strange takes on pantsuits. The Billboard Music Awards swarmed Las Vegas on Sunday night (May 19), and due to the not-exactly-formal nature of the event, the red carpet ensembles were a mix of couture gowns and more casual, low-key frocks. Here's our recap of the evening's best -- and there were quite a few. It was refreshing to see so many dresses we'd sever a limb to own.

The weather is getting warmer, so celebs are showing more skin as they dress for red carpet events. As is the standard, we had some stunners (Kate Beckinsale, like, whoa) and some stinkers (Diane Kruger, with too-loud pants) -- and saw lots of skin, be it bare or peeking out from fabric in both good and bad ways.

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards are not as high-fashion or dressy as the Grammys or the Oscars, and while some celebs were successful at going caz, others failed miserably.
