Congrats to actress Halle Berry and her brand new husband, actor Olivier Martinez. The talented and good-looking couple welcomed a son on Saturday, Oct. 5.
We knew CBS wasn't kidding around with its summer series after the commercial success of Stephen King's 'Under the Dome,' but the eye network's big buzzy sci-fi collaboration with Steven Spielberg just got a whole lot bigger. Halle Berry has signed on for her first regular TV role to lead the new astronaut drama 'Extant,' but what about the series will have audiences spinning?
Comic-Con, held in San Diego, Calif. this past weekend, is no longer the domain of nerds and comic book geeks. Several of our favorite and most beautiful actresses -- Oscar winner and style diva Jennifer Lawrence and very pregnant newlywed Halle Berry among them -- were on site for the event, looking fabulous while promoting films, just hanging out and more.
Jessica Simpson was confused that unprotected sex could lead to a pregnancy, and even Kim Kardashian didn't seem to get how babies were made -- but we expected better from Halle Berry, who's "surprised" she's knocked up again.
Then again, we'll give her a pass. She's 46 and thought all this accidental conception stuff was behind her.
When it comes to her 5-year-old daughter, Halle Berry can be pretty protective. After a failing bid last year to move to France with her child Nahla (where laws about photographing the children of celebrities are much more stringent), Berry now plans to push US lawmakers to fix the problem for her.
