Grand Junction is losing another big-name retailer.

Dressbarn stores across the country will be closing their doors following the announcement this week that all 650 stores will be shuttered. The company has been in business for over 50 years.

No target date for the closing was announced and the company has said there will be no changes to their return, refund, or gift card policies. Their website remains functional.

The Grand Junction closing is another in a long line of big-name closings in recent years including Sears, Herberger's, Kmart, Borders, Hastings, and Sports Authority just to name a few. The closing of Dressbarn will leave a vacancy next to Shoe Carnival in the Canyon View Marketplace shopping center

There's also no word on what kind of discounts you will find in the coming weeks, but currently, there is a sign in the window signifying a 50% discount on the lowest ticketed price.
