With the mild fall weather, it has been hard to think about hitting the slopes. But, attending the Ski Swap will change that and at the same time raise needed funds for the Powderhorn National Ski Patrol.

This year's Ski and Snowboard Swap takes place at the Colorado Mesa University Pavillion. The event is Friday (November 11) from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday (November 12) from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is $10 for both Friday and Saturday and $3 for Saturday only. Students with a MAV Card and kids under 12 are free.

As in years past, there will be a wide variety of ski and snowboard gear, clothing, and accessories in every size from private sellers who may want to sell, trade or swap with you. The vendors at the swap are showcasing their latest products with many for sale.

Representatives from various ski areas will also have information and will be offering special ski swap deals on passes and other resort amenities.

The Powderhorn National Ski Patrol uses proceeds raised during the event to pay for equipment and other needs for the upcoming season.

One of the highlights of the swap is the premiere of Warren Miller's film 'Here, There and Everywhere' which is almost guaranteed to give you ski and snowboad fever.
