The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction works and rehearses all year to bring a free musical gift, a full performance of Handel's Messiah, to the residents of Western Colorado. This year, they will once again present their show at the Avalon Theater on Easter Sunday.

The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction, developed and overseen by Ed Arnos, features a choir comprised entirely of volunteers, who devote their time and effort to this musical gift. The orchestra, lead by Concert Master Alisha Bean, consists of 19 musicians, including violinists Dr. and Mrs. Wubben, cellists Noelle Smith and Carissa Docteur, and harpsichordist Pam Opsal.

The public is invited to attend this free concert at the historic Avalon Theater on Easter Sunday, March 31st, at 2:30 pm. A free informance will be presented, hosted by Ed Arnos, 30 minutes prior to the concert.
