It's time to book that trip to Holland you've been dreaming of. And when you get there, be sure to make time to head over to the city of Rotterdam, where you can visit Schorem, possibly the world's best barbershop. But be sure to get there early -- there's a line 20-men deep every morning before the shop even opens.

At Schorem, which translates to "scumbag," you have a limited selection of 12-14 haircuts: "classic cuts that have proven themselves over the decades: pompadours, flattops, contours and the other styles featured on Schorem famous barbershop posters."

"The guys will pick haircuts from one of the posters, so you know what your end result is gonna be," explains Bertus, one of Schorem's barbers. "The only thing you want is to make it as perfect as possible."

While you wait your turn, sometimes for hours, you can enjoy the company of your fellow men. And we do mean men. There are no women clients at Schorem, adding to the authentic, throwback atmosphere of the place.

"You used to go to the shop with your father," Bertus explained, along with his right-hand man, Leen. "And you would see all the guys and there would be smoke and you'd smell the aftershave, you'd smell the soap. You feel at home right away. We were like, we gotta bring that back. Because men needed the place, to be a man."

The barbers will pass out complimentary beers and whiskey shots. In fact, you could probably have a helluva day just hanging out in there, regardless of whether you ever end up in the chair.

But if you do, ask to get your hair did by soft-spoken, totally-inked-up Daco. Why?

"He's a f---king good barber," says Leen.

"He's a great barber," says Bertus.

What better reason than that?

There's also Coos, the ex-con. Or Nelis, who looks like he just stepped out of a 1920s speakeasy. Take a look at their full roster here. You know what? We're willing to bet that whoever you end up with will give you that killer cut you've been wanting -- as long as it's on the poster, of course.
