Road Trip to Denver for ‘Sesame Street’s’ 50th Anniversary

Now, this makes my heart smile. Ten to one I am the biggest fan of Sesame Street ... well, at least in this area I am.

Being the exact same age as the show Sesame Street has provided me with some wonderful memories.

Big Bird, Grover, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Count Dracula, Bert, and Ernie were ways I learned how to count and spell and even speak piccolo amount of Spanish.

Later my kids were the same as me and now maybe their own kids will also grow up with the lovable characters.

Elmo joined the cast in 1985 along with many others after I grew-up, who knows who will be the newbies on the block in the future. It's like a big happy family that keeps on growing.

The crew from Sesame Street will be visiting 10 cities to celebrate the shows 50th anniversary.

The stars from the show will be rolling into town on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Free, family fun for all ages.

I think a road trip to the Arapahoe Community College in Littleton is in store for me as well.

I'm so excited to take all the little ones in my family ... it gives me an excuse to enjoy these lovable monsters and cherish some fantastic memories.
