The case of two slain Colorado mountain goats has seen an increase in reward money.

Colorado Operation Game Thief has increased the reward from $5,000 to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest or citation of those responsible for the killing.

The goats were found shot to death July 3 on Quandary Peak Trail.

The trail is extremely popular with hikers, so it is possible that someone has information that could help lead authorities to the suspect or suspects.

The increase in reward money in this case has been a result of donations to Colorado Operation Game Thief, a program that pays rewards to people who turn in poachers. If you have information you can call the toll free hotline at 1-877-COLO-OGT.
