Prince was rushed to the hospital after his private airplane made an emergency landing early Friday morning.

A representative for Prince told TMZ the singer has been fighting the flu for several weeks, but he decided to go forward with his show in Atlanta on Thursday (April 15) since he was forced to cancel his previous two concerts. Afterward, Prince reportedly felt ill again, and his plane made an emergency landing around 1AM at Quad City International Airport in Moline, Ill. The singer was then taken to the hospital, but he has since safely returned home.

Prince is currently touring behind last year’s HITnRUN Phase One and HITnRUN Phase Two. Recently, during a stop in Toronto, the singer delivered a massive 60-song set that included a moving cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" on piano.
