While this year has been unusual and taken lots of activities and events away from us, this crazy year is not going to take the Powderhorn Ski Patrol Ski Swap event that is taking place this weekend in Grand Junction.

According to all the details that have been posted online the ski swap is set to take place this Friday (November 6th) and Saturday (November 7th) at the CMU Pavilion on the Colorado Mesa University campus.

Friday night is beer night, just show up and enjoy a beer on the ski patrol thanks to Kannah Creek, Patrol Shack, and Talbots Cider with the doors opening for the event at 5:00 p.m. and closing at 9:00 p.m. It will cost $10 on Friday night to enter the event but this will also get you back in on Saturday if you want to return.

Saturday's event will kick off at 9:00 a.m. going until 3:00 p.m. and will only cost $5 per person.

All vendors that are setting up for the ski swap have tons of inventory that they are excited to liquidate, meaning you will get some great deals this weekend on quality gear. So many ski swaps have been canceled this year, don't miss out on your opportunity to get a great deal this weekend. This could also be a great chance to get some Christmas shopping done this weekend.

While their Facebook event page isn't the most helpful you can find more information by clicking here. It looks like the ski patrol is really excited to hit Powderhorn this year posting online that skiing should be taking place by Black Friday.
