Planned Water Outages Thursday and Friday in Palisade

To be without water is tough, but not expecting to be without it would be the worst. That's why as soon as we heard that there are some planned water outages going on in the town of Palisade we wanted to make sure to help spread the word. We don't want to hear about any mid-shower having to get out with shampoo in their hair.

The big project is that the town of Palisade is working on water and sewer replacements on Bower Avenue.

Here is more specific details regarding the outages tomorrow:

On Thursday, January 28th, the residence of Palisade Mobile Home Park for new water line connection at Bower Avenue and Cherokee Street. The water outage is expected to be from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

On Friday, January 29th, all residences along Bower Avenue, the residence at Palisade Mobile Home Park, Bacon Court, and Davis Circle will all be affected by the new water line connection being installed at Bower Avenue and G 7/10 Road. The same time frame is expected on Friday with outages from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Obviously, work crews are going to try to get this job completed as quickly as possible but the work goes much faster if people can avoid the area. And please don't get aggravated with the crews that are working on this project. They don't mean to make your day more difficult with the water outage, they are just doing their jobs.
