October Becomes Funtober in Colorado
Summer is over, and that means we get to have fun in Colorado this October, so let's call it Funtober.
Nightmare in the Air - Broomfield
Ghost stories that come alive. See ghouls, ghosts and goblins fly around the stage as the fright gets amped up. Is it real? Is it make-believe? You decide.
Zombie Prom - Grand Junction
Mesa Theater is the place for this yearly screamer. Face painting, live music and you and your friends howling at the moon. It's always a frightfully good time and no zombie apocalypse.
Emma Crawford Coffin Race and Parade - Manitou Springs
The 23rd annual race and p[arade is always a lot of fun. Add in the return of the Coffin Cup, a race between the Emma Crawford team and a team from the Frozen Dead Guy Days in Nederland. The story of how this all came to be is pretty spooky itself.
Zoo Boo - Pueblo Zoo
Dress up any way you like and come to the zoo. There will be trick or treat stations, a scavenger hunt and a lot more right there in the zoo. This all-day event is for members and non-members alike. A memorable Halloween event you will be talking about for years.
Giant Pumpkin Festival - Colorado Springs
It's the pumpkins that are giant! Come to see the biggest pumpkins in the state vie for bragging rights. Come and play with characters from the Wizard of Oz and a lot more. And of course, giant pumpkins.
It's a great month to go out and have fun, get scared and enjoy the fall.
