Michael Cuddyer is ready for Opening Day, are you?

The Countdown to Opening Day started at the end of October when the Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series. After many long weeks of winter, the day has finally come.

The San Diego Padres beat the Los Angeles Dodgers Sunday on Opening Night, but nothing beats Opening Day. There will be 26 teams playing 13 games today, with first pitch times spanning from 11:05am to 8:05pm, creating an action packed day full of home runs, stolen bases, strikeouts, and wins & losses.

If you're a Rockies fan, hopefully this season will be much better than last year. In 2013 the Rockies finished in last place (5th) in the NL West with only 74 wins. I don't think they can win the division but if both Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki can stay healthy they will have a better chance at winning a Wild Card bid.

The Rockies have Jorge De La Rosa on the mound tonight as they take on the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park. First pitch is at 5:05pm, will you be watching?
