Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week: Chiquita the 12-year-old Chihuahua

The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week is Chiquita the chihuahua. She's 12-years-old and a little bit shy, but once you get to know each other, you'll give each other all of the love.

Every Tuesday you adopt a new pet during the Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week. Well, that's the end goal anyway. We feature an adoptable pet from Roice-Hurst Humane Society in Grand Junction every Tuesday and try to get them into their fuever home.

Last week the Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week was 8-year-old pitbull mix, Shadow, and now it's all about Chiquita. The Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week is Chiquita the 12-year-old chihuahua. Even though Roice-Hurst takes good care of all of their animals, Chiquita is ready to meet her new family.

She's a spayed female who is a little bit shy at first, but once you get to know her, she'll give you all of her love. Chiquita would do better in a chiller environment meaning more calm, no kids, and no cats.

Although the Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week gets along with other dogs, she would do better as an only furchild. According to Roice-Hurst Humane Society, Chiquita is the happiest when she doesn't have to share and can have all of your love and attention.
